Metal injection molding (MIM) is a molding method in which a plasticized mixture of metal powder and its binder is injected into a mold. It is to first mix the selected powder with the binder, and then granulate the mixture and then inject the required shape. MIM is known as “one of the most popular metal parts forming technologies in the world”, and it has become a new type of near net forming technology that has developed rapidly and is the most promising in the international powder metallurgy field.
